It's never to late to Discover Your REAL Purpose in Life AND Make It Happen Everyday.
For me as a Family-focused Hawaiian Boomer, with 35-years of Corporate & Government Bank Examiner, Information Technology Analyst & Auditor experience, and 3-years in Internet, Niche, and Affiliate Marketing, I have learned and experienced much as a Life-long Learner, LIFE Observer and Advisor with REAL World Experience, and definitely NOT as a so-called Guru with lots of shared knowledge and skills, but little REAL experience and results!
If so-called leaders and gurus do not Talk the Talk AND Walk the Walk they expect us to follow, I see little value and credabilty in whatever they offer.

Labor Day Weekend - Time To BE FREE Of WORK And LABOR?
It's another Labor Day Celebration Weekend for Us in the United States of America, the good old USA!
Each of us and our families celebrate this time in different things and events.
For our family, it's a LONG weekend to relax, a SHORT WORK WEEK for us next week at our all important JOBS and CAREERS, and just good family time together!
How is it, that for all the LABOR DAY celebrating we do, and WORK EFFORTS, LABOR ORGANIZATIONS (aka UNIONS?), and HARD-WORKING PEOPLE like US that we are recognizing, we really seem to be celebrating NOT LABORING and NOT WORKING? Funny, Huh?
My take on LABOR DAY is that this is definitely a time to recognize and celebrate the HARD-WORKING MAN and WOMAN in the USA and around the world. These are REAL people from all walks of life and industries of the world who make a difference in the life and lifestyle for each of us.
BUT... I also think we can look at this time as a MOMENT to celebrate the NOT LABORING and NOT WORKING, whether for our jobs or work careers, or whatever! I think we should also celebrate our pursuit for PERSONAL FREEDOM, a business or adventure of OUR OWN that we develop, nurture, grow, and control for the long term benefit of ourselves and our families.
NO MORE DOMINATING CONTROL by all the corrupt and failing institutions and world powers that are destroying each of us and our families every day.
Now WHO or WHAT do I mean??
Our illustrious Financial Institutions and their leaders that have tanked our life savings and hard-earned money to line their greedy pockets at all cost, not caring a bit about the billions of real hard-working people who TRUSTED them with their money and financial future?
Our Corporate Institutions and leaders who built global businesses from the hard-earned dollars of you and me, the all-important consumers, who bought and supported their products and services? What happened to the QUALITY PRODUCT and TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE PROMISED by these NO-INTEGRITY Charlatan Business Leaders who gave you what THEY wanted you to have, and not what YOU, the consumer NEEDED and DESERVED for insurance (AIG?), automobile (GM?), investment, technology, and other essential products and services you NEED for YOUR LIFE and LIFESTYLE?
Here again, greed and mismanagement rule, and WE the consumer are now asked to BAIL THEM OUT????
Our Government Institutions and leaders of Inefficient Operations, Overspending Management, Major Pork-Barrel Pet Projects for the few, and Closed-Door, Secret Decision Methods and Laws, affect ALL of US!!! Yet our ELECTED By The People OFFICIALS do NOT really ASK AND FOLLOW US, the very one's who have the most to win or lose, "HOW DOES THIS REALLY AFFECT YOU AND YOUR LIFE & LIFESTYLE"???
I don't need to name names or give details here. We all see media coverage everyday about these REAL government issues, but the funny thing is, we rarely see the REAL SOLUTIONS and REAL RESULTS, only the typical GOVERNMENT RESPONSE... MORE TAXES? MORE BUDGET CUTS? These ARE NOT SOLUTIONS... these are just MORE PROBLEMS!
I could go on more about some of our other Illustrious Instutions, like Education, Church & Religion, but they'll have to WAIT FOR ANOTHER HOLIDAY!
But this is the LABOR DAY Weekend Celebration. So celebrate, have fun, relax, or whatever you like.
And ponder the NOT LABORING, NOT WORKING, FREEDOM part of the weekend, and Take Back Control of Your Life and Lifestyle.

Hawaii Statehood - 50 Years Later - Admission, Celebration, Sovereignty?
This month marks a major milestone in the history of Hawaii, Statehood, and the Sovereignty movements in our Aloha State and around the world.
Many celebrate the 5oth anniversary of Hawaii's admission to the United States of America, as the 50th state in the union. This is also a time for personal reflection on the many changes, both good and bad, that have affected each of us who call Hawaii... "home".
The other side of the Hawaii Statehood coin is mired in the many sovereignty movements that have confused many like me for years.
Although I am an educated Hawaiian, I have not been able to find the interest or energy to learn and understand this sovereignty issue. It may be my western education, my lack of interest, or something else, but I have not yet seen the need or value of the sovereignty movement to me, my family, the Hawaii community, or the world we share.
I do, however, respect the time, energy, and effort of our Hawaiian leaders like Daniel Akaka and local sovereignty leaders to push forward on the movement they believe in.

July 4 Independence Day Weekend Closing
The July 4 Independence Day Weekend nears a close for another year.
After all the celebrating, camping, hiking, picnics, barbeques, fireworks, food, drinks, parties and your special family traditions, what will you remember and do for your personal and family's freedom, wealth, and independence until next year?
We all spend time having fun and celebrating the special holidays like the long July 4 weekend. But how much time do we really spend to celebrate our family's financial freedom, wealth, and independence? Probably very little now, since few of us share the financial freedom we expected from our good education, hard work, and smart investments.
The rising cost and declining career opportunities of a college education make me question the value and focus of our educational systems and institutions of higher learning. The major deterioration and collapse of world-wide industries like automobiles, manufacturing, insurance, mortgages, & others, and the growing involvement and control by world governments in global business, make me question the stability and security of jobs and careers, and a definite need for income alternatives for most of us to survive. The total irresponsibility and unaccountability of the financial industries, including banks, insurance companies, mortgage companies, investment companies and brokers, to properly protect the hard earned cash and life-time savings of every hard-working citizen throughout the world, makes me question the value, need, and purpose for financial institution and traditions, or any established institution or tradition, that does not serve the people, as originally created and intended.
But enough on my personal hot buttons. As part of your Independence Day tradition, I ask that you think and do something about your personal and family freedom, wealth, and independence. As Up With People used to sing in the 60's and 70's, "Freedom isn't free. You gotta pay the price, you gotta sacrifice, for your liberty."
Spend some time in honest assessment, evaluate you options, and take action for the benefit of your family freedom, wealth, and independence. I have chosen my income alternative as I approach retirement and pursue my freedom and independence through information marketing and publishing, like this and other blogs. Through my global brand, Martin K Pe'a, Hawaii Information Marketing and Publishing, and other businesses like Webprosperity, I work with family, friends, partners, and clients around the US and the world to build the family freedom, wealth, and independence we all deserve to celebrate.

As the father of Christopher & Anthony, two successful young men who now chart their own courses & lives with their girlfriends Chelsea & Nicole, I am thankful for each of you fathers who have been the shining example for your children.
I thank you for taking complete responsibility to be the provider of your family, especially when times were tough.
I thank you for being the unselfish booster & supporter, when your children needed you at their scouting events, soccer & basketball games, school & church meetings, band performances, & family gatherings, especially when work called or you just didn't feel like it.
